New Site Launched Today!

I’m please to announce the new osscomic.com today! (after much hair-pulling the past couple days)

I’ve taken the plunge into the self hosting deep end of the WWW pool. Take a look at the new site at osscomic.com.

I’ll be maintaining my original ComicGenesis site here as a backup but the new site will be my primary site from now on.

Wish me luck!.

IE Problem Fixed

I've been having a problem with my site in IE. I have my osscomic.com page automatically forwarding to my ComicGenesis site as I'm building the new OSS site. I finally thought to test it today in IE and it wasn't working!! (that's what I get for using Firefox all the time) So to all of you using IE to read OSS, oops! I'm sorry. it sould be working for you now.

Sorry.

Really.

New Site Coming

I'll be building a new OSS site in the coming weeks, so you might have strange pages show up when you come here. Don't be worried. It's all just showing how much I have to learn about building web sites and how little I know about how hosting works.

I will be maintaining my ComicGenesis site during the transition and as a backup site.

Wish me luck.

The Internets

I've been looking around Facebook lately. My son has 100 friends. My wife has 50.

I have 12.

But I'm actually finding people I haven't heard from in YEARS and that's great. The internet is a wonderful tool. (It's like a series of tubes, you know)

In My Day........

My son starts High School tomorrow and my daughter starts Middle School.

Ok.

I feel old now.

(When did Jr. High School become Middle School?)

More (or less) than meets the eye

I was surfing the cable channels yesterday and found the Transformers movie on HBO. I didn't see it in the theaters and have wanted to check it out so this was the perfect opportunity. My wife and daughter wandered in a little while later and watched for a couple minutes. When Optimus Prime was starting to explain the Cybertron war/Megatron thing Anne turned to me and said "Isn't this something you might want to watch with Chris?" (my son is having some alone time with his grandparents this week). I considered explaining the movie up to that point. . . Chris and I will watch the movie when he gets back.
